These terms apply to your use of the Outback Darling Candle Co. website and to any order you place with us. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Our products
We sell hand-poured candles made in small batches. Because each candle is made by hand, slight variations in colour, finish, and scent strength are natural and are not faults. Product images are a guide and may differ slightly from the item you receive.
Prices and payment
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. We accept payment by card via Stripe and by PayPal. Payment is taken at checkout, and your order is confirmed once payment is successful. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors.
Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock or a pricing error has occurred, and where we do we will refund any payment in full.
Shipping
We currently ship within Australia only. Delivery times and costs are calculated at checkout. Once your order leaves us, delivery is handled by Australia Post, and we cannot control any delays on their end. Title and risk in the goods pass to you on delivery.
Candle safety
For your safety, please follow the care and safety instructions provided with your candle. Never leave a burning candle unattended, keep it away from children, pets, and anything flammable, and always place it on a heat-resistant surface. We are not responsible for damage or injury caused by improper use.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to replacing the goods or refunding the price you paid. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
